Is SecureRecovery for Removable Disks able to recover any type of file?
The program is not intended for a specific type of file recovery. Instead, it is designed to recover every file on a removable disk.
How does the demo version of this program work?
The demo version has the same analytical capabilities as the full (commercial) version, but it will only show the basic media structure. Files within the media structure will be replaced with simple text placeholders.
Since the placeholder files have the same names and extensions as your original files, you can use the demo version of SecureRecovery for Removable Disks to see whether your data will be recoverable with the full license. If a file does not appear in the generated media structure, it will not be recoverable with the commercial version of the program.
Is the full version of SecureRecovery limited to a certain number of files?
No, the commercial version does not have this type of limitation.
I am interested in SecureRecovery for Removable Disks, but I need more information regarding the product license options.
In that case, we recommend visiting our Licensing page. This webpage contains our current license scheme with detailed information about the available options for the program.
I recovered data from my removable media, but some files appear smaller. Why is this, and do I need to take any actions?
You do not need to take any actions if your files are working properly. File size discrepancies can occur for several reasons, but they are a common effect of the data recovery process.
The most common reason for the discrepancies is data corruption, which may not prevent files from functioning properly. This is especially true if the corruption is highly localized. SecureRecovery for Removable Disks will bypass corruption, which can limit the size of the affected file. If your device has sustained extreme damage, some files may be unrecoverable or partially unrecoverable.
After using it, many of my files are recovered, but some of my files are corrupt. Is there any way that I can restore them?
It is not designed to treat individual corrupted files. We would recommend using one of our other file recovery tools, as a specialized program may be more suitable for repairing the damage.
All of our tools have free demo versions, which allow you to determine recoverability before you pay.
